The days when you had to visit a branch of your bank for every financial transaction are long gone. With the Swisscard app, you have an overview of all the important information about your credit card at all times.
The app offers numerous options for managing your finances conveniently on your smartphone or tablet. Every transaction is displayed in real time via the Swisscard app. A push notification informs you about new bookings on request.
You can filter transactions in the overview by amount, date or card and view your online statements directly via the app. This means you can keep an eye on your current balance and available amounts at any time and from anywhere.
Cardservice: Manage your account using the Swisscard app
The Swisscard app gives you the opportunity to handle all credit card management matters digitally:
- You can call up the PIN code directly in the app or order a new one if required. Delivery is by mail.
- Personal data can be updated easily, for example a change of address.
- If you suspect misuse, you can temporarily block the card immediately and unblock it again after checking – without having to go through the bank branch.
- In the event of loss, you can order a replacement card directly in the app.

Secure online shopping with the Swisscard app and 3-D Secure
To ensure the best possible security for online purchases, the Swisscard app supports the 3-D Secure service, an internationally recognized security standard for online payments with American Express, Mastercard and Visa. This procedure protects both shoppers and merchants from card misuse by means of an additional identity check.
How 3-D Secure works:
- When paying in an online store that supports 3-D Secure, an additional security check is carried out.
- You will receive a code for identification directly in the Swisscard app.
- The payment is only released after the code has been entered.
When shopping online, look out for the logos "American Express SafeKey®", "Mastercard® Identity Check™" or "Visa Secure" to ensure that your transaction is optimally protected.
The 3-D Secure service is an integral part of the Swisscard app. Every transaction must be authenticated and is therefore protected against unauthorized access. This procedure offers the highest level of protection for online payments.

Step by step guide to a Swisscard account
It only takes a few minutes to set up the Swisscard app. First download the application to your end device:
- For Apple devices from the App Store
- For Android devices from the Google Play Store
Now log in with your personal Swisscard login to link your card account to the app. Important: You cannot log into the Swisscard app with your cardservice login, use the Swisscard login. If you do not yet have a Swisscard login, you can register directly in the app and create an account.
Step by step guide for registration:
- Open the app and click "Register".
- Accept the terms of use and click "Continue".
- Enter your email address (this will serve as your username in future) and set a secure password.
- You will now receive an email with a security code. Enter the sequence of numbers from the email.
- To link your Swisscard account, enter the first six and last four digits of your card number. Also enter your name and date of birth.
- You will receive an SMS with another numerical code. Enter the code and click "Confirm".
- You are now registered and can use the Swisscard app to its full extent.
