"L'Atelier Robuchon" ("The Woodward"): French haute cuisine with a modern twist

At "L'Atelier Robuchon" in "The Woodward" hotel, you can experience French cuisine at the highest level. The interior is characterized by fine wood - all red paintwork and details: a trademark of Robuchon restaurants worldwide. The open kitchen creates a lively, almost theatrical atmosphere.  

Olivier Jean and patissier Titouan Claudet, both of whom have won several awards, are at the stove here. Jean serves traditional French dishes with a modern twist, such as duck liver terrine with apple and chili pepper, calvados and pine nuts or Vully risotto-style rice with saffron and artichokes. Claudet was named "Patissier of the Year" by GaultMillau.

Good to know: the restaurant has been awarded two Michelin stars and 17 GaultMillau points - a top score. 

"Fiskebar" in the "Ritz-Carlton Hotel de la Paix": Nordic freshness on Lake Geneva

Nordic coolness meets Mediterranean lightness in the "Fiskebar" at the "Ritz-Carlton Hotel de la Paix". The restaurant is located directly on the lake and offers one of the most beautiful terraces in the city. Head chef Francesca Fucci focuses on seasonal products and interprets them creatively - in the Scandinavian sense with Mediterranean accents.  

The menu changes regularly and ranges from Swiss Black Angus carpaccio with truffles to langoustine tails with herb sauce. The atmosphere is relaxed, the interior modern and flooded with light. On Thursdays and Fridays, DJ sets provide an atmospheric end to the day - live, of course.

The unique selling point of "Le Tsé Fung"? It is the only Chinese restaurant in Switzerland with a Michelin star. Chef Frank Xu interprets Cantonese cuisine with great sensitivity and relies on the best ingredients. The interior is reminiscent of Shanghai in the 1930s - with red velvet, black lacquer and silk wallpaper.  

Peking duck is the house specialty and is presented at the table and served in two courses: first the crispy skin, wrapped in crêpe, then the breast, sautéed in lettuce leaves. Dim sum, sea bass with ginger or crispy beef with sesame are also on the menu.

Nice to know: The "Tsé Fung" in the "La Réserve Genève Hotel" is located in a spacious park on the outskirts of the city. If you like, you can take the hotel's own boat (Motoscafo) from the city center directly to the restaurant - an experience that can only be had in Geneva.
